SaveOurParamedics.com is a project brought to you by the Ambulance Paramedics of BC. Our goal is to promote pre-hospital care in British Columbia. We believe in holding our Provincial Government accountable to providing the best care possible to it's citizens.
The 3400 members of Ambulance Paramedics of BC provide service to BC's 3.4 million people with seven levels of service:
- Emergency Medical Responder - EMR
- Primary Care Paramedic - PCP-IV
- Infant Transport Team - ITT
- Advanced Care Paramedic - ACP
- Critical Care Paramedic - CCT
- Emergency Medical Call Taker - EMCT
- Emergency Medical Dispatcher - EMD
We provide these services to British Columbian's across a massive area of approximately 944,735 square kilometers.
From our four dispatch centers located in Victoria, Vancouver and Kamloops, we received and dispatched over 750,000 calls for help in 2006.
You can be sure when you dial 911 in BC, your going to speak to one of our professionals.
We respond by land, sea and air to all corners of the province, and beyond. A response can take us out to sea, landing on the deck of a cruise ship, deep into one of BC's forests, or to your neighborhood.
